Meet Our Studs

This is a list of our current and upcoming studs. Once each upcoming potential stud passes health testing they are officially entered into our program. We perform the following tests on all our studs: Full genetic panels- Embark, OFA eyes, OFA cardiac, OFA patellas, and OFA elbows. Either Pennhip or OFA hips, we will occasionally do both. Health and Temperament are our priority as we focus on placing well rounded pups into families to change lives. If any portion of the health testing is failed Big House K9 will not breed, instead dog will be neutered and placed into a pet home. Should we use an outside stud we will ensure all health testing is completed prior to breeding.

Carter is truly one of a kind. Carter came to us as an adult. He was unsure of who he was as well as how to live inside a home. Carter has blossomed into such an amazing boy. He is shy at first until you have his trust. Once you have gained his trust this boy shines! Carter is your typical people loving, goofy golden. He loves nothing more than to please his human, loves to give hugs, and loves to play with his best friend Cooper our 14lb toy poodle or his puppies. He is such a loving and gentle boy, loves all the snuggles. Carter has previously produced service dogs for our program as well as his previous program.

Cooper, our Brown Phantom 14lb toy poodle, is the embodiment of joy and vitality! This lively little boy is always ready for a game of fetch or a sprint across the farm. With his boundless energy, Cooper would undoubtedly excel in agility. But don't be deceived by his playful spirit; he also has a tender, snuggly side. Cooper is incredibly sociable, getting along famously with other dogs and having a special fondness for children. Meet Duke, the future stud of Big House K9. Duke is a one-year-old Golden Retriever from our very own Charley and Carter, currently thriving with his loving guardian family. An affectionate and playful companion, Duke brings joy to his parents' plant shop, Wright In The Garden, in Phoenix. Always ready with a wagging tail, he is the first to greet every visitor, making your stop at the shop a delightful experience. Duke's charming personality and friendly nature make him a beloved member of his household and a promising addition to our breeding program.

Introducing Fillmore, Big House K9's future stud, affectionately named after the beloved character from the children's movie "Cars." Fillmore, or "Fill," is a one-year-old Golden Retriever from our exceptional pair, Charley and Carter. As part of our Guardian Home program, Fill lives with our wonderful veterinarian, where he is a cherished member of the family. Fill is a goofy yet incredibly smart boy who brings joy and laughter wherever he goes. He thrives on adventure, whether it's camping, kayaking, visiting the lake, playing ball, rolling in horse poop, or exploring the ranch. Fill's escapades are a constant source of delight for us. In training to become a therapy dog, he already enjoys visiting his grandma in her nursing home and making new friends everywhere. Fill also loves spending time at Queen Creek Vet Clinic, where he hangs out while his momma works. His vibrant personality and adventurous spirit make Fillmore a remarkable addition to our breeding program.
